Dealership Community Service and Contributions

DCH Honda of Temecula believes that giving back is a very important part of our business.  In addition to supporting Students Against Destructive Decisions(SADD)  nationally, DCH Honda of Temecula supports and volunteers for organizations in our community.  When a community is doing well as a whole, its individuals are better off, too.

DCH Teen Safe Driving Foundation
Car crashes are the #1 cause of death among teenagers - DCH Auto Group's new and used car dealerships in New Jersey, New York, Connecticut, and California are working to change that.

DCH Auto Group's dealerships are committed to helping young drivers stay safe. The DCH Teen Safe Driving Foundation  is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit charitable organization dedicated to reducing the number of deaths and injuries resulting from teen related auto crashes by promoting safe driving through greater awareness, education and advocacy directed to teens and their parents.  DCH Auto Group believes in doing more than selling new and pre-owned cars, and we've made this Foundation a priority.

The Foundation's approach is to educate teens about smart decisions and safe driving and provide parents with the tools they need to set the standards with their teenage drivers.

SADD (Students Against Destructive Decisions)
The cornerstone of our program is our affiliation with Students Against Destructive Decisions (SADD). SADD, the nation's leading peer-to-peer youth education, prevention, and activism organization, is committed to empowering young people to lead initiatives in their schools and communities.

Founded in 1981, today SADD has thousands of chapters in middle schools, high schools, and colleges. SADD highlights prevention of many destructive behaviors and attitudes that are harmful to young people, including underage drinking, other drug use, risky and impaired driving, and teen violence and suicide.

DCH Honda of Temecula has launched a SADD chapter at Chaparral High School in Temecula. Our goal is to help Chaparral High School develop successful a sustainable chapter, and to raise awareness about important behavioral decisions when behind the wheel of a car. Each year, DCH Honda of Temecula sends students and educators to attend the SADD National Conference in addition to providing both financial support and volunteer support from its employees.

National Organizations for Youth Safety
National Organizations for Youth Safety (NOYS) is a collaborative network of national organizations and federal agencies that serve youth and focus on youth safety and health.

Each year, DCH Auto Group Temecula brings attention to
National Youth Traffic Safety Month, held each May during prom, graduation, and the beginning of the summer driving season. The goal of National Youth Traffic Safety Month is to engage and empower youth across the country to develop and implement youth peer to peer education projects, support increased enforcement, and advocate for stronger laws to protect young people on the roads.

In 2010, DCH Honda of Temecula put together the first DCH Temecula's Got Talent competition to highlight National Youth Traffic Safety Month.
