How to Debadge Your Car

For some drivers, badges on their vehicles are extremely unnecessary and distract from the natural beauty of the car itself. This leads them to begin the search for ways to safely remove them without damaging the car. That's why our team at DCH Honda of Temecula want to give you a few proven techniques to debadge your car.

First, drivers will want to try pouring hot water around the area of the badge. This will help to loosen the adhesive and make it easier for you to scrape the badge off of the exterior. Additionally, drivers could also try using a hair dryer. The hot air will slowly start to soften the adhesive so it can be removed.

Other techniques can be used rather than scraping as well. One of the most common ways is to use dental floss to separate the badge from the car once the adhesive has been softened.
