    Really a great value. Two minor complaints: the CVT can be jerk-y when going uphill at a low speed, i.e. 10 mph. Also, they could have included more/larger cup holders in the interior. Other than that, the car is very reliable, and for a baseline model it has lots of features that usually are only found on more expensive versions of other makes. The car is rated for 41 mpg freeway, but I have achieved up to 49 mpg using Eco mode and cruise control while driving 65 mph on the freeway in flat terrain. Driving around town, I get about 30-33 mpg. The car has plenty of room and is comfortable, and the new 2016 body style is a major improvement compared to previous models. I would definitely recommend this car!

    Switched from a Mercedes Benz C300 to this car for financial reasons. Had most of the same features and more safety features that were standard. While it does not have the same German car feel, it was an easy car to transition into. Real time driving earns me 31 MPG. I drive it hard and push it to its limits. It handles it all. Oil change went from $200-$400 down to $30-$50. I don’t get a loaner anymore, but I can rent a car for $30...still ahead of the game. I loved my Benz, but my Honda is a champion.
  • I love my Energy Green Coupe! Very sporty!

    I bought a 2018 Civic Coupe near the end of 2018. Instead of waiting for the 2019 models, I decided to go for it. The main reason, they stopped making the Energy Green color in 2019. And I just love colors that stand out. And the color really sits well on the Civic Coupe design. At 175 horse power, this is the fastest car I've owned. VALUE ====== I do not know if KBB wants you quoting prices. So I'll just say I got the "internet price" which is a nice fair discount over MSRP. I chose the EX-T version because I wanted that turbo with more horse power. And with all the extra things you get from the small bump up in price from the next lowest model is amazing. Which is why I rate it at 5 stars. More HP, nicer sound system, heated seats, dual zone climate, and a few other things. The EX-T trim is the best bang for your buck model for this car. PERFORMANCE ============= When I first test drove an EX-T the improvement over my then current car. A 2008 Scion XD with it's 130 HP, was immediately noticeable. I was giddy with the acceleration performance. The one thing that can be considered a downside is the CVT engine. There truly is a bit of a lag/delay. Which definitely takes some of the fun away when starting from a stop. I will definitely consider this when I buy my next car. But it's not enough to make me hate this truly fun sporty car. Which is why I rate performance 4 stars. RELIABILITY ========== I'm only going by my trust in Honda. I feel very at ease knowing I bought a Civic brand new. I trust Honda and Toyota above all. But I do think there are Korean car competitors that are gaining trust. 5 stars here. STYLING ======== What else can I say but this. The 2 most important things on my list when I buy a new car are Styling/Looks and Performance/fun. This car hits a home run on both marks. The 2018 Civic Coupe is a very sharp looking car. And in the Energy Green color and optional real spoiler. This is a very sharp looking car no matter what angle I look at it. 5 stars. QUALITY ======== Very well built and a nice interior. A few hard plastics here and there but overall very good. I don't feel I'd be honest if I just rated everything 5 out of 5. I don't love the hard plastics but for the price you are getting good value. 4 stars. COMFORT ========= The drivers seat is a lot more comfortable than I thought it would be. It definitely is a low to the ground seat. And it is just a tiny bit cumbersome getting in and out. But once you are in that seat it is super comfortable. But my last car was a hatchback which was super easy to get in and out of. So 4 stars here.
