Honda's 2011 Insight hybrid is getting a new launch - UK style. The popular hybrid, which is in direct global competition with the Prius, is hitting dealership lots overseas, and The Brits seem to like Honda's hybrid sedan.
The new, top-of-the-range EX model of Insight features black leather upholstery and DVD Sat Nav, along with hands-free telephone set up. Similar features are available in US-based versions of the 5-door hybrid line-up.
A number of changes are implemented for the UK variant, including: adjusting the recoil rate of the springs, morphing the rear camber angles, altering the V-shape rear suspension brace and adjusting mounts.
Honda also added rear parking sensors to all ES-model Honda Insights and above. Dashboard and seats come with a colorful mix of grays and blacks; chrome rings now surround air vents, and the doors have been given silver garnish features. New paint options for Honda Insight are Dynamic Blue Pearl and Carnelian Red Pearl.
These changes were a direct response to comments received from early customers. Initial focus was on suspension, to which improvements have been made in response on ride and comfort levels.
In North America, you can test drive an all new Honda Insight RIGHT NOW at DCH Honda of Temecula - 26755 Ynez Road - Temecula, CA 92591.
