The 2011 Honda Fit is headed to Honda dealership lots, and the Japanese auto maker has now released official pricing for the segment-leading subcompact hatchback; Fit will now start at only $15,850.
It will be an additional $800 to swap the stock five-speed manual for an automatic. At that starting price, Honda now includes the stability assist technology, remote entry, cruise control, and a USB audio interface.
Remaining the same is Honda Fit's 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine, creating upwards of 117 horsepower and 106 pound-feet of torque. Honda also adds four new colors to choose from: Alabaster Silver Metallic, Polished Metal Metallic, Celestial Blue Metallic and Vortex Blue Pearl. There are no other exterior changes to the 2011 model, but if it works - why change it?
Smooth carpeted floor mats come standard on the Fit Sport and Sport with Navigation trim. Fit Sport models without the nav system see price hikes of $450, since the Sport comes with a manual transmission. A $17,610 price tag will be placed on The Fit Sport with manual - an automatic equipped model starts at $18,460.
A Honda Fit with navigation system will be priced at $19,990. Just like in the 2010 version, only the automatic transmission is available with navigation system. Prices include a destination fee of $750.
