If you haven't seen the 2011 Honda CR-V CUV in person, you've likely at least heard the name from a friend, the radio or a TV commercial. Among the many reasons drivers routinely choose the Honda CR-V crossover are its modern, aerodynamic body; seating for five, powerful DOHC i-VTEC engine, real-time four-wheel drive; MacPherson strut suspension, user-friendly five-speed automatic transmission, multi-reflector halogen headlights, 60/40 split rear seats, folding power side mirrors, USB interface, and Advanced Compatibility Engineering (for enhanced occupant protection and crash compatibility with frontal collisions).

Much of this will stay the same for the 2012 models year. However, based on the CR-V concept Honda recently unveiled, we can confirm at least six forthcoming changes. You can't miss the first four, for they create a far more striking exterior: defined sculpting, fender flares, a horizontal three-bar grille, and five-spoke alloy wheels.

The fifth and sixth changes have to do with the CR-V's interior. While Honda didn't release any images of the inside and details remain vague, they have divulged plans to add more comfort features and lower the cargo floor.
