When fans of 2012's Honda Civic started blogging complaints about the updated sedan, the Japanese auto maker decided to fix its issues.
Civic upgrades will include better interior quality and noise reduction. These were key reasons Civic failed to receive a "recommended" status from Consumer Reports this past year.
"Building a good car isn't enough for us, we have to build a great car," John Mendel, Honda's executive vice president of sales in the US, said. "We think we can do better and the customer expects that and we will."1
Honda is so confident of their upcoming Civic for 2013 (due in late 2012) they're predicting a sales increase of at least 24%. DCH Honda of Temecula will be one of hundreds of dealers showing off the latest Civic models. They've set a US sales target increase of 1.25 million next year, up from about 1 million this year.
