Are you a songwriter who's always hoped to make it big? Well, you might just be able to get your start with Honda. That's right. The Big H is inviting you to put your talent to good use and enter The Sounds of Civic songwriting contest.
What's the point? Well, if you're the grand-prize winner, you'll have the opportunity to win a new 2012 Civic. You'll also be invited to perform live for the Civic Tour's stop in Los Angeles, CA and be featured in Honda's online Civic marketing campaign. And, even if you don't come in first, you could still be one of eight finalists who win $2,500 in music gear from Sam Ash Music Stores.
.Overview of How The Sounds of Civic Songwriting Contest Works
- Entrants may submit their songs either at the Honda Facebook page (www.facebook.com/hondacivic) or http://pub.honda.com/Xqp- All entries must be submitted by June, 5, 2011
- The entrant who earns the most votes on Facebook between June 8 and July 17 will be named the winner
- The songwriters who earn the second through ninth most votes will be named finalists
- Winners will be announced on July 18, 2011
