If you're excited about the 2013 Honda Accord, you're not alone. In fact, everyone here at DCH Honda of Temecula, has been keeping a close eye on the development of the redesigned, mid-size sedan. And while our radar has recently been clogged by spy shots of camouflaged prototypes, today we've obtained the first official images of the Accord in both sedan and coupe form from Honda itself.
So what's changed, you ask?
"This car is the most sculpted and the most dynamic Accord yet," says Vicki Poponi, assistant vice president of product planning for American Honda. "Following Honda's long-held philosophy of 'man maximum, machine minimum,' the beautiful exterior evolved from a focus on interior space and the needs of the people inside it."1
Of course, we're guessing you'd like specifics. Here's what we know so far.
- Both models will feature two sets of distinct bodylines (one at mid height; the other will be lower)
- The overall length of both models is shorter than previous generations
There's still quite a bit left for Honda to reveal about the ninth-generation Accord (specs, mileage, pricing, etc...), and you can bet that everyone here will be keeping an eye out for them. The moment we hear anything, we'll post an update to our blog, so we encourage you to stay tuned. Of course, if there's a more immediately-available new Honda model you're interested in, simply stop in and see us in person at 26755 Ynez Road - Temecula, CA 92591 today.
