When Honda started its latest fan-appreciation campaign, we here at DCH Honda of Temecula, knew it would make a big impact. We didn't, however, realize that Honda would use the campaign to make a band's biggest dreams come true.

Until now, the "Honda Loves You Back" campaign had focused on rewarding high-mileage used Honda owners with parades and pumpkin carvings...heartwarming, but far from impressive.

The latest stunt from the Big H, however, is one that will be remembered for years to come. After seeing a music video that the band Monsters Calling Home shot entirely in the various members' Honda models, a special gig was arranged. Specifically, the band was told that they'd be playing for a small venue with an audience comprised entirely of Honda execs.

When the members of Monsters Calling Home arrived at the venue, however, a Honda rep told that the gig was simply a ploy to lure them to the set of the actually venue where they'd be playing: Jimmy Kimmel Live.

To say that the members of the band were shocked would be an understatement, as would it be to say that they merely put on a good show; they rocked the house!
