American Honda Motor Co., Inc. reports that the company is up 4.5 percent year-over-year. For Honda, it's a 5.2 percent. What does that look like? It looks like 125,649 Honda vehicles leaving showrooms (and 140,013 units total for the company, including Acura).
If you've recently purchased a Honda Fit, you're not alone. There were 4,667 other Fit purchases made, giving the brand a 20.3 percent increase over last year. Several customers sought out the Honda Accord as well. May sales were up 11.7 percent with 33,218 units sold.
Kudos to the CR-V, Odyssey, and Pilot as well. The CR-V cranked out 27,298 units sold and increased sales over last year by 8.4 percent. The Pilot impressed us with a 11.3 percent increase, and the Odyssey proved to be a positive pick with an 15 percent increase.
