Driving at night is difficult already, let alone trying to drive at night with a headlight out. If you feel like there is not enough light coming from the headlight, you will want to check everything over in order to determine if it is the bulb, a short or simply needs adjusting.
Not all headlight maintenance is going to have someone replacing a bulb. In a number of cases, people who need to maintain their headlights can find a simple way to make their lights brighter. In most cases, the headlights are simply dirty and will need to be cleaned. There are headlight cleaners that can be used to remove the dirt or you can use simple window cleaner to clear the dirt off.
If your lights are clean, yet still dim, you will want to check to see if a bulb is going to fail. If so, you should try and have it changed as soon as possible. If you do not know anything about cars, it can be even more difficult to work on the headlight. If you want to be sure that the headlights are right, you will want to spend a little bit extra for a better brand headlight.
