The recently revealed Honda Accord takes a new form: that of a fastback. While the new Accord delivers many of the same qualities Honda drivers have come to expect over the 40+ years it has been in production, the newest iteration of the Accord also looks more modern than ever thanks in large part to a swooping new profile and fastback-style roofline.

Functional Upgrades: New Transmission and Engine Options

From three new transmission options to two new four-cylinder, turbocharged engine options, the 10th generation Honda Accord midsize vehicle is more ready than ever to hit the streets with style and prowess.

Two new engines are available to 2018 Accord buyers. The first is a 1.5-liter turbo four cylinder that puts out 192 horsepower. The second is an even more powerful 252 horsepower 2.0-liter four cylinder engine.

There are three available transmissions in the 2018 Accord. On models with the 1.5-liter engine, Accord buyers can choose from a six-speed manual (available only on Sport trim models), or a continuously variable transmission. On the other hand, 2.0-liter equipped models get the choice of either a 6-speed manual or a brand new 10-speed automatic transmission.
