Honda Insight Heading to the UK

Honda's 2011 Insight hybrid is getting a new launch - UK style. The popular hybrid, which is in direct global competition with the Prius, is hitting dealership lots overseas, and The Brits seem to like Honda's hybrid sedan.

The new, top-of-the-range EX model of Insight features black leather upholstery and DVD Sat Nav, along with hands-free telephone set up. Similar features are available in US-based versions of the 5-door hybrid line-up.

Early Distribution Set For Honda Insight

According to the New York Times, the new Honda Insight will be available sooner than previously announced. The gas-electric hybrid by Japan's auto maker will be available March 24, with a starting price of $19,800 for the base model. The total price, after extra charges, will be $20,470, this is about $2,250 less than that of the competition.

Honda to Unveil New Engines at LA Auto Show

Honda Motor Co. is bringing two new concepts to the 2010 Los Angeles Auto Show in November. One will be the prototype of an electric car; the other is a new type of gas-electric hybrid engine. This announcement was made last Wednesday by a Honda spokesperson.
